In Memoriam - Helen Jaap

SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE and THANKSGIVING - Sat. May 21

St. Paul's Friends,

Our thoughts and prayers are with Andy Jaap and his family, following the death of his wife Helen, on Friday evening (Dec. 17) at the St. Joseph's Satellite Facility in Hamilton.

Helen was in her 91st year, and the 67th year of their marriage. She had been coping with dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.

May our prayers also enfold Helen and Andy's son Bruce and his extended family; son Ken (Donna), grandchildren Chelsea and Nathan, great-granddaughter Jennifer Walsh; step-granddaughters Aleah (Jessica) and Amanda Tyrcha; sisters-in-law Irene (Frank) Tremblay, and Mary Morton; and Helen's remaining siblings: Thomas (Pat) Stevens and Betty Connolly.

Helen was much involved in the music and worship life of St. Paul's as an associate organist, choir leader and choir member. She is a past President of our UCW.

Helen's life will be celebrated om May 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm.

We humbly commend Helen to the gracious care and eternal life of the God she loved, served and praised.

Grace and peace to all in this season,

Reverend Jim & John Adeyemi
