"Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

St Paul's has enrolled in the Stephen Ministry,
in which trained and supervised lay people, called Stephen Ministers,
provide one-on-one Christ-centred care
to persons facing difficult times in their life.

What do Stephen Ministers do?

They are caring Christan friends
who listen, understand, accept and pray
for and with care receivers
who are working thorugh a crisis or tough time.

Who are Care Receivers?

They are persons from our church or community
who are going through
divorce, grief, loss of a job, loneliness, hospitalization, terminal illness
or any number of other life difficulties.

The Spirit gives different gifts to people.
Romans 12:6-8 lists some of them:
proclamation, servanthood, teaching the faith,
encouragement, generosity, nurturing leadership, and mercy.

Contact the church office if you, or someone you know,
would like to speak, in confidence, with a Stephen Minister.
